Oh dear, this has certainly been a long day. Jonathan I hope you haven't been too hard on the students. I'll see you at home shortly.

I'm curious if any of the students even understand the material. I teach them but it feels like everything goes right over there heads. I can honestly say I will be glad that this school year is over.

I am afraid you may be right. I have some very bright pupils in my courses, but I am not entirely sure all of them truly understand the weight of the subjects they are taking.

They tend towards frivolities so very easily, it seems.

It is most unfortunate, for they could gain so much from the knowledge with which they are being provided. This school is an excellent one; if it had existed when I was a child...but that is neither here nor there.

I have seen you in passing before, but I am not sure we have ever been formally introduced. I am Ptolemy, and it is a pleasure to finally speak with you.

Yes. I took the coarse as slowly as I could, really to take down the level of education any farther and this would be an elementary level.

Yes, well teaching biochemistry doesn't give me many options to make it any simpler. I am far better at teaching regular chemistry but unfortunately Mr. Parker beat me to the post.
