The City has turned me human...I do not know what I should do. I hadn't realized how use I have become to being a vampire. I'm feeling rather exposed right now. I would feel better if you came over here.




What has just happened? I am assuming that today is a break from the plagues but what manner of curse is this? Why must we endure such cruelty?

...It is alright to call me Mina. Considering his ongoing association with the Major it will be a struggle but I hope so as well.

He is a Dracula even though he is not the one who turned me, it seems I still share a slight connection to him and the other Dracula counterparts present. As such they seem to all know how to get under my skin.

Um.. sorry.. it's habit.. But ah-- Mina, then. I think.. if anyone can help the Captain, it'll be you! He.. told me once, about.. um. About the baby you had.. About what happened. I think he needs you. And umm.. pardon me for saying, but I think you sort of need him, too.

.. I suppose they must. But if he's going to live with me from now on, he's going to have to temper those habits of his. I.. I um. I just.. won't have it. I'll put my foot down if I have to! I really will! Um.. not that.. he'll necessarily listen, but I'll try?

The Captain and I are not exactly from the same reality. So I do not know how the Quincey of his world died. My son died about a month after his birth...my condition weakened his immune system...so he couldn't fight off illness...my husband passed away not too long afterward. Technically both the Captain and I are widowed.

That's kind of you but do not risk angering him if he is protecting you. He speaks out of turn but he has at least stayed his distance. If the distance is mainatained I can ignore the words.
