Thirteenth of March...apparently the year Two Thousand and Seven.

In a rather disturbing turn of events, I find myself in a place merely called "the City". My last memory before appearing here being standing on the deck of the Nautilus looking out at the ocean. I had thought I might be suffering from some sort of dementia...but as I explore this pecuilar place I find that I lack the imagination to create such a world, even if I were in a delusional state.

As it stands I have no means to contact my comrades or superiors to appraise them of my situation. I am seemingly stranded in a paradoxical world where the dead and the living mingle and I have just seen the rantings of a lunatic wanting war.

Therefore if I, Wilhelmina Harker am not indeed mad, then what precisely is going on here?
