If you knew his betrayal, Madame Mina, you would not fault me my pettiness.

He would have left my Master alone to die for his jealousies.

And you were never petty or jealous? What of the Mina of your world? What you did to her, to Jonathan and to Lucy? People died because of your desire to possess. Why is what he did any different? Please explain. Why should you be forgiven yet he be made to suffer?

Give me one good reason why I should keep my silence. I have said nothing of what I witnessed but my silence is not unbreakable.

And I have been made to repent for what I have done. I am their willing slave. And I will continue to be.

Vlad I somehow doubt you were willing to repent at first and you certainly benefited from being under their control. Some would say that is far more then what you deserved.

Truly? Was it fully under his power that he was betraying you? I have seen with my own eyes what Millennium's technology is capable of doing. Why continue to punish him for mistakes he made under the influence of others? And why precisely are you threatening the younger Vlad?

I wish to believe that you are not the same creature who condemned me but you are looking more and more like him.

I did not threaten my younger self. I did, however, know the mere intonation of something violent would be enough to put Walter on edge. And it did.

Though I imagine by now you have spoken to Walter and offered your protection of sorts.

Even if Millennium attempted to sway him, there was something there they would need use. Some hate, some grudge, something.

And when he returned, when we tried to mend the past with him... he threw it back in my Master's face. When her father died, Walter and I were all she had and now he lashes out at her whenever he has the chance.

I was shown that I was wrong and now it is his turn. Worry not, Mina, this is not a permanent condition on his part.

Obviously I cannot fully protect him from you but I did offer my apologies for not alerting your master. An act I still have not done because I have no want to see the lady angry or hurt over this.

Have you stopped to consider the something was likely a love poisoned? I'm not blind I can see how much he and your other self love one another which means you love him as well. You must understand from my perspective the way you are acting is that of someone who is bitter and jealous.

It seems to me that his lashing out is also a product of bitterness and jealousy. Vlad...you and he will have to let each other go at some point. If you continue on this path of trying to make him suffer you will risk losing the future you have now. Do you really believe that Sir Integral would approve of what you are doing behind her back?

To be betrayed by someone you love hurts I know but your actions can be considered a form of betrayal in themselves. Do you not think she will feel betrayed that you acted without her knowledge?

I do not wish to destroy the future I have.

Is it wrong to torment him only a bit more?

If that is true then why do you persist on holding this grudge against him?

Is it really necessary to do so?

He betrays over and again. And now, there is nothing to keep him in line and well behaved but the tie I have as his Master.

Flaunting what I can do with that tie is a bonus.

Then how will you ever know his honest intent? Vlad do you not understand? Once all matters of control are broken over him he will be able to fully show his true colors. Once and for all everyone will be able to see what kind of person he truly is with no influence from others.

Is it not time to learn where his loyalty truly lies now? By keeping this control over him you will never know what he would have done if he had not be tainted by outside forces.

Vlad, I will not tell Sir Integral of what you are doing but only on the condition that you make no more threats empty or otherwise on the younger Vlad.

You have offered him your protection, how could I threaten now. We both know I would not harm you.

I have no wish to see this situation come to light there would be others who would be hurt. Please just settle this matter quietly and quickly and I will not feel the need to interfere further than I all ready have.
